1. Information We Collect
- Account information — name, email, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
- Card images — photos you submit through the mobile scanner for cataloging, and for AI grading.
- Shipping details — the address used to send and receive trades.
- Payment details — collected and processed by our third-party payment processor; Cache does not store full card numbers.
- Usage data — basic device and interaction data used to keep the scanner and matching engine working correctly.
2. How We Use It
We use this information to catalog your collection, run wishlist matches, calculate live pricing, verify packages at the Cache hub, generate shipping labels, and process transaction fees. We do not use your card photos or collection data to train models for purposes unrelated to Cache's own scanning and grading features.
3. Who We Share It With
- Verification hub staff — review package contents and photos as part of the trade pipeline.
- Shipping carriers — receive the address and package details needed to generate and track labels.
- Payment processor — handles payment details directly; Cache never sells payment data.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Retention
Account and trade records are kept for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward to resolve disputes and meet financial record-keeping requirements. You can request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to those requirements.
5. Your Rights
You can request a copy of the data we hold on your account, correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your account. Contact us using the details below to make a request.
6. Cookies
Cache uses a minimal set of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic site preferences. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
